That tan box near the top of my page says MiceChat Ad Free has been "Coming Soon!" for like a year now. What gives? Is that still a planned feature for the forums, and if so what's taking so long?

my guess is priorities...
they had all the server load issues that had to be sorted.. which resulted in server moves
now they are trying to migrate to the new vb platform that is coming.. so that will mean SIGNIFICANT work to just get things back to what they were.
My guess is it's just fell behind more critical things.
Besides, with the ad layout they've settled on now, I don't find them intrusive at all. Now if they try to up the ante with more.. I reserve judgment on that

I think that if you live with some things for a while, you do indeed get used to them. I tend to not look in the direction of the ads, now that I know they are on the right side of my computer.
MiceChat is a great site, and if the ads help pay the bills than who am I too complain. At least they are not annoying pop up ads.BarbaraAnn
