  • Forum Searching Disabled due to World of Color Premier

    Hello Everyone!

We've disabled built-in forum search due to tonight's World of Color debut. We want as many people as possible to post reviews and pictures. Please browse the forums using the forum listings on the main page.

Sorry for any inconvience this may cause!

Phew... I thought I was going crazy. MiceChat has been very slow for me for the past couple of hours. Is that related to the premiere? (Which, by the way, was great to watch on USTREAM.)

(I've never visited Disneyland Resort, Tokyo Disney Resort, Disneyland Resort Paris, nor Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, so don't be fooled when I pretend to know what I'm talking about. [But I'm pretty good with the information, if I do say so myself. And you can hit me all you want with Walt Disney World.])

You mean we crashed even with the searches off?? Whoa...

I noticed some weird things when we came back. One of the threads had 3 posts from who knows where attached to the beginning of a thread... and they were dated for December of 2002...

haha, and must have been a big server load! I took a glance at who was in the Disneyland Resort section, and it capped at 430, anyone have an exact number? But even with the searches off you crashed...good idea to temporarily turn it off!

Well, we had a bit of a hardware issue that we didn't know about until we reached those numbers. We're on a new box, and ready to go for the public premier tomorrow night.

Be sure to turn off searching! You're gonna get hit pretty hard a little over an hour (when everyone gets home) from the show ending. Hope it stays up though! How many new members did you get tonight?

Will search go back on any time soon? The "New Posts" button, (my favorite,) is still missing for me.
