Why does it take 8 tries to unsubscribe a thread?

Every time I unsubscribe from an old thread, I'll tick the box, click "delete subscription," hit go, and...the page reloads exactly as it was before. After doing this 5, 6, 7, or 8 times, it finally takes.

This might be due to the aggressive caching that we do. The setting sticks, but quick reloads just load the page from your local machine - so you don't hit the server multiple times.

Unsubscribed from three threads today. Took 7 tries each.
