I have a Forum question..

So, I've checked the little box that shows ONLY the Mice chat threads AND I'm still seeing VMK threads on the New Posts board. What gives?

I dont really understand your question. But if asking why there are new post in vmk section, umm because there are people talking in there. Most people in vmk section, stay in vmk and they chat there constintally, so usually there will be 2 new post every minute from vmk.

I also unchecked the "no vmk forum" option then re-checked it. That seems to have eliminated the VMK forums from my New Posts thread board.

Just to let you know danceguest... Every time anybody posts anything in either VMK or MC, it shows up as a new post in the "new post" section at the top of your page. A lot of people use this to review what has happened on MiceChat as a quick review and since they don't play VMK and aren't interested in, or don't understand, what's going on in there, they don't want to see the posts. You guys are a talkative bunch and sometimes it takes a long time to filter through what's VMK and what's MC, so they have been given the ability to filter out the new posts in VMK (or at least that's what the O/P is trying to figure out ) . That's what this thread is about. I hope that helped you to understand

I used to do that a while ago, go threw the new post. Well than i got lazy, than Bigpigletfan got me to it again. Lol.

Which "New Posts" link are you using? All update correctly depending on user setting, on my end.

After you set the option, make sure you scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click "Save Settings".

None of the new post links have worked for me. I double checked my settings and "Do not show VMK" is still selected. That wouldn't still be selected if I never pushed "Save," correct, ¿verdad?

This feature has never worked... but I haven't really complained since I can just ignore the more annoying forums and posts.
