Micechat Gold for 18 over only?

Since when I first created my account in the VMK section of Micechat, I have been quickly accepted into that part of Micechat. Not until recently had I decided to "venture out of the blue" to the actual Micechat forums. Now that I have, I would really like to become a little more active than I am. This would include becomming a Micechat Gold member. However, while learning more about it, I noticed it was only for 18 and over. This somewhat disturbed me.

I realize that the moderators and Micechat leaders do not feel comfortable letting a 15 yearold into boards which I probably shouldn't be . I still would really like to switch to Micechat Gold, but am unable to due to the age restriction. As a personal request, and possibly others who feel this way; is it possible to make it so that people under the age of 18 can still sign up for Micechat Gold, but be restricted from visiting certain forums due to their content nature?

Also, I think this is the correct forum for this. Please move it if it is not (yay for four two-letter words!)

trust me...I have been rallying this for quite some time.....and I even suggested a Gold type thing for 18 under...but nope....it really isn't the smartest thing to do......the teen scene Will be the next best thing!!!

MiceChat gold is for the premium services... and where a lot of the threads that do wrong go...

Micechat Gold is designed perfectly for adults of 18 up...
because of this secrecy.. i cannot go into much, but we debate on things and such in one lounge...

and there is no way to restrict much without takin away the whole thing...

that, and soon teens will have a scene to hang around in.

Now that doesn't mean that you teens will be able to just go wild and run around spilling soda on the carpet, sticking gum under the chairs and tossing popcorn in the corners!!! SOMEONE will be around with a BIG mommy stick to make sure you guys don't make a big mess without picking up after yourself.... but it will be teen and young people oriented.

Sounds pretty cool. I will have to wait and see what happens with it. Would it have some of the same things that the current Micechat Gold has now? Or would it be completely different? Time will tell...

Also, just realize, my posts are a lot less structured and with a lot more spelling mistakes than the one above. I just did that to impress people !

Thats one of the reasons no one under 18 is allowed in. Us old folks can't decipher your posts!

There are lots of reasons MC Gold is only for adults. For one thing, half the services you pay for, we'd have to restrict, so what's the point. For another... sometimes we old people need a break from l33tspe4k. And, well... yeah, it's a place for us old folks to hang out and talk about old people stuff :evil:

I can't answer for Monorail Man, but it will be soon. We have a few surprises for next week. I don't know if we will have time to get everything done before the WDW trip. Some things may need to wait a bit.
