  • Ryan, North Hills, California...

I sent a question to ask dave on d23 and he answered it.
    D23 | Disney.com

    This is what I asked:
Q: Disney's California Adventure, a fairly young park, is going major changes at the moment. What kind of major changes did Disneyland see within its first decade of opening?
    Ryan, North Hills, California
A: Because Disneyland was an immediate success, Walt knew that he had to enlarge the park. Coming right along in 1956 were such attractions as the Skyway, Storybook Land Canal Boats and Tom Sawyer Island. To cite a few others, the Viewliner and the House of the Future were added in 1957. The biggest and most elaborate additions were the Matterhorn Bobsleds, the Submarine Voyage and the Monorail in 1959. The ill-fated Flying Saucers debuted in 1961, the Enchanted Tiki Room introduced Audio-Animatronics in 1963 and the first decade ended with Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln coming to the Opera House on Main Street, U.S.A. in 1965.

    I feel hyped haha.

    Congrats! Good question!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
