Fishy, Al, and I attended the Disney Rarities with Don Hahn last year. It was a blast! Totally looking forward to going again this year. The D23 discount is a great bonus.

Now see this is the kind of thing I'd like to see from D23. It doesn't have to be something big or major, just something special for "us" besides merchandise on their website. I won't be able to attend this, but its nice that D23 members are getting some kind of a discount to it just for being members.

This is nice and a good idea by Disney, but once again it falls into the argument that others have mentioned that D23 is primarily geared towards individuals living in either CA or FL.

Hopefully Disney doesn't fall into this trap or D23 will asuredly fail, there needs to be more outreach to those not living by the parks.
