  • D23 Gift Cards Now Available

Just dug this up on the D23 web site: D23 Gift Cards. Don't know if this is new or I just haven't seen it before.

They are now selling D23 gift cards at Disney Stores and at some shops in Disneyland and at Disney World. This will allow you to buy a D23 membership for the Disney fan in your life.

I think these will make great birthday and Christmas presents. Glad to see this.

The D23 gift card ($74.99) will enable Disney fans to purchase one-year
D23 memberships for themselves or as gifts for family and friends.

Here's where you can purchase D23 gift cards:

    • All domestic Disney Stores
    • World of Disney in New York City
    • At the Disneyland Resort, at the Disneyana Shop at Disneyland, Off the Page at Disney's California Adventure, World of Disney at Downtown Disney
    • At the Walt Disney World Resort, at Main Street Gallery at the Magic Kingdom, at Art of Disney at Epcot, at Art of Animation and Sid Cahuenga's One-of-a-Kind at Disney's Hollywood Studios, at Disney Outfitters at Disney's Animal Kingdom, at World of Disney and Art of Disney at Downtown Disney and at Fantasia (Contemporary Resort) at Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Gift Shops.

I remember reading that the gift cards were going to be available to purchase at the Disney Store. I just don't remember where.

I think it would've been cool if D23 did Gift packages instead of gift cards.

So instead of gifting a card, a recipient would get the magazine, "gift," and a voucher to receive your certificate and membership card.

You can buy gift memberships online currently that show up to the recipient as a gift in their mailbox... They then have to register online themselves to receive any emails/FanFare, etc. whereas if you gave a gift card, they could register online and "do it themselves".
