Any guesses about what the new winter D23 events will be?

Of course there will be an archives tour. I'm hoping for a Pixar tour in Emeryville (I'm Sf-based...), but what else will they tempt us with to inspire charter members to sign up again? What would make you sign up for D23 in year two? Inquiring minds want to know...

I'm assuming that the announcement will cover events between January and March. I think there will most likely be more studio/archive tours as well. Possibly an event based around Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. Probably a few theme park events and I'm crossing my fingers that one will be in WDW since I won't be able to travel much during my upcoming internship. And maybe they will do a special event on March 10th to commemorate the 1 year anniversary? Beyond that, it's hard to predict because every time they announce events, the D23 Team comes up with great ideas that I would never have thought of. Whatever they announce, I'm sure they will all be wonderful events.

D23 doesn't need to do anything else to get me to sign up for year 2. I think the price is right for the magazine subscription and all of the bonuses they send with them. I've been lucky enough to attend several events, which were all incredible, but I'm a satisfied member even without the events. I had an amazing time at the Expo as well and have been able to collect most of the D23 pins, so I feel like I've really gotten the most out of my membership. I'm really excited to see what surprises are in store in year 2!

I will renew my membership as well. I had a fabulous time at D23 Expo and was lucky enough to get on one of the archives tours, which was amazing. I love getting the magazine and the fun surprises - my favorite is the day one charter member pin. I do hope to attend an event in the next set, and would love an Alice and Wonderland event.

Definitely renewing. I think the winter events are set and no more until next year like goofystitch had already said.

As far as events will go, im assuming another studio tour would probably happen. I'm hoping for some movie related events. With the rumor (? is it a rumor?) of the hatbox ghost returning, I wonder if D23 will do something special for that. Something WoC related maybe? Captain EO event for when that returns? The possibilities are endless.

Either way, I look forward to D23's second year and hope that the service just gets better.
