  • Details on Flowers and Fireworks event available... when?

Any guesses on how far in advance D23 will release the details of its Flowers and Fireworks event at WDW? And start selling tickets?

Seems like they never allow enough time to really plan to attend these things...

Re: Details on Flowers and Fireworks event available... when?

Typical fashion from last year was around 2 weeks before the event, but this year, they seem to be changing that. For example, they booked the April Studio tour months ahead while the Disneyland and WDW received a little bit more than a month to book before the event...

So hopefully, they give a tad extra time to book the flowers and fireworks events like they did for these early 2010 events

I asked specifically about this just last weekend while at the archives/studio tour. They could not say exactly but were "hoping" for early March to release all the info and for ticket sales. Also, remember they just moved the dates for this event up two weeks so I'm sure that's leaving them scrambling to get everything together as soon as they can.

Nothing yet... and it seems hard to believe that they can get details out for Destination D, in August, before they give us even basic info about an event that's happening in May.

By the way, I emailed D23 to see if they could tell me WHEN details would be released, and I got a response stating that "details will be released in the coming months."
Um, not very helpful when the actual event is less than 2 months away. D23 customer service is horrible.

Well, I think we can safely say they missed early March. When are the dates anyway?

Harrumph! Now I'm sorry I waited on pins and needles for this info. No park admission, and all we get for $195 is a BBQ and continental breakfast, plus a couple of snoozerific seminars and a Chubby Checker show we could see for free? Not sure about this one...
