Now showing footage from Chris Wrather's 9th birthday that was filmed at the themed mini golf course at the Disneyland Hotel. Great footage

Just showed some fantastic photos of Walt Disney at the Disneyland Hotel. Don said he previously only had five images of Walt at the hotel, but recently found 25 more, many of which he showed right now.

Family of Jack Wrather including his son Chris is present at this presentation. Chris has been instrumental to Don's research of the Hotel.

Unfortunately, I only had an hour. There were many things I would have loved to discuss but simply couldn't due to time constraints.

Barely scraped the tip of the iceberg with the video footage. Tons more.

I would of love to go the presentation except the lines were absurd to get in this morning by the time I got in my early hour of a d23 benefit was basically 15 minutes 945 am... I arrived at 815am. This is how disorganized the outer areas were. Looking forward to meeting you at the booth!

No problem, Don! It was a fantastic presentation. The old photos of Walt were gems and the rare video footage you unearthed was really fantastic to watch. Thanks for putting together a great hour for us in attendance!

Also, I picked up your new book. I haven't had a chance to look through it yet, but it's one of the things I'm most excited about in my D23 loot bag.

For those of you wondering, Don's new book on the Disneyland Hotel's early years is available at the Walt Disney Archives Treasure Trove store on the second floor of the convention center during the D23 Expo. It's a must-buy!

Where can we buy the book? I looked on Amazon and it shows it as out of print.

[edit: from the link in your sig.. sorry, me slow sometimes.]
