  • Nickelback inks $100 million 10 year record deal

    Wow, what a deal.

Although, this does mean we have to put up with Nickelback for another 10 years now.

Maybe they can write a song that doesn't sound like every other song they ever wrote now.

Last week, rock band Nickelback inked a $100 million, ten-year deal with record label newcomer Artist Nation. Nickelback is now the fourth major talent to sign to the new label, which is a division of the concert promoter, Live Nation.
Artist Nation launched their company late last year with an announcement that Madonna had also signed a $100 million, ten-year deal. The company followed up this past April with the announcement that Jay-Z signed to a $150 million, ten-year deal. And just last week, Artist Nation signed international superstar Shakira for a reported $70 million, in a ten-year term.

Oh, I don't deny that I'd love to be a Rock Star.

And if Nickelback came to me right now and told me they needed a new bass player, and that was me, I'd be all over it, despite the fact I can't stand their music.

Ben Franklin once said that beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy.

Now, I'm not sure there is a God, and if there is he certainly doesn't want me to be happy.
            What an idiot....

Yeah, I do that Twitter thing.
