  • Tinker Bell and the Lost Treaure Soundtrack Review

I hope I put this thread in the right place.

I bought the soundtrack two days ago at Disneyland and i'm already impressed with it.

Unlike the first Tinkerbell soundtrack, this one has 3 more songs than the first. And it comes in a basic CD case.

The most popular song on the album, according to iTunes, is Gift of a Friend by Demi Lovato. After hearing it and viewing the music video, I agree! Demi Lovato did a very good job on this song.

I was suprised to see that the song "I'll Try" from Peter Pan 2 Return to Neverland is included. But it is sung by Jesse McCartney, who also voices Terrance in the films. If your a huge Jesse McCartney fan, I suggest you get this song because he did a great job on it.

Unfortunatley, it didn't include a piece of the score by Joel. The first soundtrack did for the first Tinker Bell film. If you don't know what I'm talking about, go on iTunes and search the first TInker Bell album. Listen to the first 30 secs of the last track on it. It's called "End Credit Score Suite."

Suprised that Loreena didn't return to sing the song that is played in the beginnning of the Lost Treasure (The first 6 minutes of it is on youtube). It is sung by Lisa Kelly. Thats okay, she did a fantastic job too!

What did suprise me the most, is that "Fly to Your Heart" by Selena Gomez is on this soundtrack too. It's the last track on this soundtrack. Probably it has been established as an official song for the Disney Fairies Franchise. An opportunity for those who didn't get the first Tinker Bell Soundtrack which has the song. Also for those who are both Selena and Demi fans, two of their favorite singers in one CD.

The other songs are also pretty good and worth listening to.

    I give the soundtrack 9/10.

    Track List:

    1. Gift of a Friend- Demi Lovato
    2. Take to the Sky- Jordan Pruitt
    3. Where the Sunbeams Play- Meav Ni Mhaolchata
    4. Road to Paradise- Jordan Sparks
    5. I'll Try- Jesse McCartney
    6. If You Believe- Lisa Kelly (from the Movie)
    7. Magic Mirror- Tiffany Thornton
    8. The Magic of a Friend- Haley O
    9. It's Love tha Holds Your Hand- Jonatha Brooke
    10. A Greater Treasure Than a Friend- Savannah
    11. Pixie Dust- Ruby Summer
    12. Fly Away Home- Alyson Stoner
    13. Fly to Your Heart- Selena Gomez (From the first Tinker Bell Soundtrack)

The world is a treasure trove of places.
The colors of Earth, Sea and Sky. Beauty i'm told, is ours to behold. In the wonderful world of color.

Re: Tinker Bell and the Lost Treaure Soundtrack Review

There's a bit of cross-pollination on the Demi track as well, "Gift of a Friend" is on her second album "Here We Go Again". Granted it's a "bonus track" but it's still there. Same with "So Far So Great" which is also on "Disney Channel Playlist".

I wish that there wasn't such overlapping, I picked up "Gift of a Friend" on iTunes from the first soundtrack since it wasn't on anything else. I'd like more new songs on these soundtracks. But then again, saves me some $.
