  • Disney/Pixar Greatest (Original Soundtrack)

I just recently went to Target and bought the Disney/Pixar Greatest CD. Probably one of the best music purchases I've ever made! We've been playing it in the kitchen and it's been really cool walking into the kitchen with the Monsters Inc. title playing. My top 3 are: When She Loved Me, Nemo Egg (Main Title), and Carl Goes Up. Do you have this CD? What are your favorite songs?

I don't have this CD because I own all the individual soundtracks and I'm pretty sure the majority here have as well. My favorites are definitely the Michael Giacchino ones (Incredibles, Ratatouille, Up)

I love Thomas Newman and Michael Giacchino. Some of the first tracks from Nemo, including the Main Title, give me goosebumps.

(I've never visited Disneyland Resort, Tokyo Disney Resort, Disneyland Resort Paris, nor Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, so don't be fooled when I pretend to know what I'm talking about. [But I'm pretty good with the information, if I do say so myself. And you can hit me all you want with Walt Disney World.])

Dude. Nemo Egg (Main Title) gives me such good memories. I was 8 years old when I saw Finding Nemo opening day and that song was played when Marlin says "There, there, there. It's okay, daddy's here. Daddy's got you. I promise, I will never let anything happen to you...Nemo." That was the first time I ever cried during a movie and that day was a very memorable one indeed.

That song is pure genius. It evokes emotion and compassion so easily.
