  • The Rocketeer score

After watching The Rocketeer this morning on Syfy, I think it has one of the best scores of all time! It matches perfectly to the action of the movie, and always adds, never detracts.

And I always loved it when they used it for the Observatron in the new Tomorrowland. Hearing that blast over Tomorrowland on a Magic Morning when the park was practically empty was a great start to the day!

Love this score too! I'm not big James Horner fan, but his score for this and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan are refreshing and spot on!

James Horner is amazing! His main title for Field of Dreams is one of my favorite pieces for long drives.

Horner does some fine work yes. Rocketeer is an underappreciated gem, both for its soundtrack and as a film.
