  • Just picked up Michael Crawford's The Disney Album (What else might I be missing?)

I just picked up Michael Crawford's, 'The Disney Album.' It is a pretty good remix of several classic Disney songs. I have a decent collection of Disney music but am always on the hunt for something new. Let me know what I might be missing!

On Order: Brian Wilson, In the Key of Disney

    Current collection:
    The Disney Album, Michael Crawford
    Tangled (Soundtrack)
    Cars (Soundtrack)
The Princess and the Frog (Soundtrack)
    The Official Album of Disneyland
    Disney Fairy Tale Weddings
    Disney Wishes!
Everybody Wants to be a Cat, Disney Jazz Volume 1
Dave Digs Disney, The Dave Brubeck Quartet
    Disney Adventures in Country
    Disney Adventures in Bluegrass
The Essential Disney Love Song Collection
    The Disney Standards, Steve Tyrell
Disney, The Music Behind the Magic
Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust, Kerry Butler
The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Soundtrack)
The Best of Country Sing the Best of Disney
    Country Sings Disney
    Oh Mickey Where Art Thou?
Classic Disney (5 box set, 60 years of Magical Music)
    Disney's Greatest, Volume 1
    Disney's Greatest, Volume 2
    Disney's Greatest, Volume 3
50th Anniversary, A Musical History of Disneyland (4 Disc Box Set)
10 Disney Favorites: Songs From the Sea (From and inspired by The Little Mermaid)

Albums (These have not made it to my iTunes yet but most are probably included somewhere above):
Walt Disney's Fantasia, Leopold Stokowski with the Philedelphia Orchestra (1957)
    Disney's Family Reunion (1979)
Walt Disney's Stories and Songs from Cinderella (1980)
Walt Disney Presents the Story and Songs from Lady and the Tramp (1969)
    Walt Disney's Happiest Songs (1967)
Walt Disney's the Grasshopper and the Ant
Walt Disney's Dumbo (All the songs from) (1959)
Walt Disney's Pinocchio (All the songs from) (1959)

    Forgot about this little nugget!

Maybe you folks can tell me though. Does gettin' two womenfolk mean you're the winner or the loser?

Walt Disney and the World's Fair is a great 4 CD set of the 4 Worlds Fair attractions. Also, Ragtime at the Magical Kingdoms is another great CD as well!

I have several of the titles on your list. Here are a few of my suggestions for you.

      The Billys - I Want U 2 Want Me
      The Billys Live
Jim Brickman - The Disney Songbook (If you can find it, the Amazon exclusive CD includes two bonus tracks: The Bare Necessities with Dobie Gray and A Whole New World/Colors of the Wind Medley)
Dick van Dyke & The Fantastix - Put on a Happy Face (Dick Van Dyke and The Vantastix)

If you're older or nostalgic about old Disney shows and films, you should search iTunes for obscure titles that they used to have and I assume they still do. I've downloaded The Black Hole (which has now been released on CD in a special edition from Intrada) and Musical Highlights from The Mickey Mouse Club TV Show.
