oh lucky!!! Live is one of the best concert bands i've ever seen. Saw them here in Reno about...6 years ago with Counting Crows and they were both amazing.

First The Cure (I know, technically you've not gone yet, but you got the tix first), and now this one.

I've never seen Live, but I caught MUSE at the Austin City Limits music fest a couple of weeks ago and they were amazing! Suprized the heck out of me. I've always liked them but they were a phenomenal band to see on stage! They replaced the White Stripes (who had canceled their US tour) and ended up being the talk of the fest! :thumbup:

This will be my 3rd time seeing Live. First time I saw them was with Counting Crows in 2000 (had 3rd row for that). Then I saw them again in 2002 at a radio station festival show. I had an all-access pass (yes there's a story behind that), so I got to meet them. They were so cool.

Ok so.......

Was not very impressed with Collective Soul. The lead singer gave out a total poseur vibe and one of the guitarists was waaaay too loud, which was very annoying. Other people around me complained about the same thing. I also realized they do a lot of songs that I can't stand. LOL!

Live, on the other hand, was awesome. Just.... awesome. I have yet to be disappointed by them. My only complaint would be they didn't play anything off their first album, which is my favorite. It's rare that they do, but I was hoping for a nice surprise.

The opening band was pretty good too. I forget their name, but they said they're from Memphis, TN.
