I was reading in the new Rolling Stone today how stores such as Best Buy and Wal-Mart are downsizing their music departments to make way for other things that are actually selling (like video games).
That got me to thinking how many CD's I've actually bought recently.
Honestly, the only CD I've bought in the last year was the new Rush album Snakes and Arrows. The ONLY reason I bought it (instead of just downloading it) was because I have all their other CD's and because it was the enhanced DVD version.
So realistically, the only time I'll buy a CD anymore is if it's an existing band I already have all their CD's to add to my collection, or if it's some special edition CD. Otherwise, I'm just downloading it.
So how about you? Are you still buying CD's then adding them to your computer, or are you just downloading everything now?
