  • The Police Will Return for North American Tour . . . Then Call it Quits

The Police will wrap up their hugely successful reunion tour in North America this summer. But Billboard reports--and Sting has confirmed on his website--this will probably be the last time the group ever performs together.

30-plus concert dates have been added in North America, kicking off May 1st in Ottawa and concluding in New York in August. Dates and locations will be officially announced Thursday. Nearly half of the concerts will be performed in cities The Police missed on their first sweep through North America last year.

You called that one right, but they are going to be in Sac...I think I might have to make the trip over the mountain.

I am really tempted to go to the Orlando show as I might be up there that weekend anyway. I had the best time when I saw them last summer in Tampa. It was the 2nd best concert I have ever been to (the best was U2 in 2005). My seat sucked in Tampa and I had a blast, so I could have a sucky seat in Orlando and have fun too.
