I doubt anything major will come out of this. They still have to go through with the appeal.

There's also a law suit against Rock Band by Konami (who came up with Dance Dance Revolution). Konami claims they originally came up with the idea of playing a music based game with instrument controllers. And yet I doubt we'll see anything coming out of this either.

The onyl controllers affected by this are Gamecube and Classic. The actual Wii Remote itself is not affected at all.
