  • Middle Earth - RCT3

So once I got the RCT3 bug (after I could actually play it) and seeing the awesome scenarios created by Lost Boy (Harry Potter) and Disney Wrassler (Sweeney Todd), I decided to create something. There wasn't really a lot of deliberation as to what I would create ...

I give you ... Middle Earth (it's a work in progress of course)

First up ... Minas Tirith. It contains all 7 levels, although I'm not sure if each one is 30.5 meters high. :geek:

The "White" Tree and the beginnings of the Tower of Ecthelion (it will be taller eventually)

    A view showing both sides

The view from the top level of Mordor

Overview of Mordor with Mount Doom and Barad-Dur (haven't started on the black gate yet

And finally, the beginnings of Hobbiton

    The Party Tree and Tent

    And the beginnings of Bag-End

I think my main issue with the park is ... where to put rides. I mean, Mordor will work great for some ... but as far as not letting the rides ruin the atmosphere of the park ... that's where I'll have issues.

What do you think so far???

My son is a RCT3 junkie. This looks absolutely amazing Clinks. I'm looking forward to the Flying Dumbo Nazgul ride. "Daddy! I want the Witch King of Angmar!"

Nice job on this so far!

        That looks amazing.

It took me forever to build an enclosed castle wall for a courtyard...

How long did it take you to do all of that so far?

That's cool. Isn't there supposed to be a roller coaster in there somewhere?

Uhm, probably about 3-4 hours. I had a couple of beginnings of it that I didn't care for, but once I figured out how I wanted it, wasn't too bad.

I'm actually having more trouble with Osgiliath as I don't want everything to look the same. May be time to look into downloading some scenery items online or something.

I'm actually thinking a roller-coaster UNDER the city.

I actually have some updated shots that I'll upload later. I've made the tower bigger (duh) and added the Houses of Healing, Court of the Fountain and the Great Hall of Feasts.

That is very cool so far. After you get it done and add the rides are you going to video it with the Flying Camera and stuff. If you need help just PM me and I will explain the darn thing and let you know how to make it work and what buttons you should never, ever click. I think this is a great idea for a Park. I like what I am seeing so far. Glad Jeff and I got you going on RCT3 again. It's still a load of fun and hard work but once you get the hang of it you can do some pretty incredible things that you couldn't do with RCT and RCT2 despite the add on packs. For me there is just no comparison.
