  • Penny Arcade Expo '09 - Anyone going?

Hi all -- since this is the video game forum, I figured this would be the best place to post Is anyone going to the Penny Arcade Expo, or PAX (http://www.paxsite.com), this year? I know it's in Seattle, but it's worth a shot to see if any our fellow MiceChatters are coming!

It's a great convention. Anyone interested in video, tabletop or card games should definitely check it out!

I'm actually a volunteer (I was a manager for two years there) and work in the Expo Hall!

If anyone can make it... or wants to be a volunteer! Let me know

Well I'm in Everett, and I'm finally graduating this year so I have a pretty good chance of finally attending this year.*

        * Though I'm not 100% sure yet, this year is going to be pretty packed with vacations. (In July alone I'm heading to Pittsburg for Anthrocon and a week long trip to Minnesota for family, Vallyfair! and Mall of America.)
Disney and Universal fan for life!...Shocking ain't it?

I'm not crazy, now if you will excuse me I have tea time with the ghosts at Haunted Mansion.

It seems like attending PAX is one of those things I always say I'm going to do and then I never get around to it. Seattle isn't horribly far from where I live; if I didn't drive, airfare wouldn't be too bad. But then again, fall semester will have begun by then and missing school is scary business. Plus I'll be going to Disneyland in October so my traveling funds will be depleted. It probably won't happen this year, but I'd really like to go someday!

are really too much for me."
