  • Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All Stars

Hey it's been a while since I was here. This game is coming out on Tuesday (Same day as No More Heroes 2, Mass Effect 2, and MAG). I've been looking forward to this game for a while, and finally, an original Capcom fighting game on a Nintendo home console (we haven't had any of those for a while, and ports don't count). I'm a huge fan of the Capcom characters in this game, and I enjoyed some of the Tatsunoko anime such as Science Ninja Team Gatchaman (Battle of the Planets/G-Force outside of Japan) and Tekkaman Blade (or Tenkoman). Tatsunoko is basically similar to Marvel Comics in terms of popularity (In Japan at least). This is a game I cannot wait for. Anyone looking forward to this?

I haven't picked it up yet personally, but I played the Japanese version at some conventions last summer. It was pretty awesome from what I played of it. I think it's cool that even though we lost a character during localization, they made it up to us by adding even more. I'm selfishly kind of hoping for more characters such as Phoenix Wright or Dante through DLC.

OMG! Its amazing... my friend had a party to play it last weekend and OMG! We were playing it all night! I like the addition of Zero to represent Mega Man X, not to mention his character plays a lot like a pretty good tier Ryu.... But then again, the game itself i amazing but I cant stress how much I hated Yami being the main boss of the game! I have not played through Okami but I was so let down by the end boss... Although the game itself is fun and its one I always have to play whenever I go to Gameworks! It plays very similar to Marvel V. Capcom 2 but with graphics on par with Street Fighter 4... I love how you could chain supercombos like in MVC2 and pull off assist moves but the controls are a lot more simpler than MVC2 and remind me more of Blazblue or Guilty Gear which is becoming the standard in side scrolling fighting games! Overall its a great game and lots of fun!
Add me... I dont bite LOL!

I will have to check this game out. Though, it leaves one to wonder if you play as Owashi No Ken, can you unleash the Science Technique Firebird (kagaku nimpo hinotori)?
