  • Wonderland Section in Epic Mickey

I know this image is old news, but when looking back at the 3d modeled map of Wasteland in the Epic Mickey intro, I noticed that there is an Alice in Wonderland section.

What do YOU think the section will be like?

Looks like a Wonderland section has been cut out. In this interview NYCC 2010: Talking Epic Mickey with Warren Spector and Chase Jones - CraveOnline.com Spector says that Wonderland has been cut out to stop possible confusion with the burton film.

It's a shame, too. Oh well, the game's still going to be amazing.

You'll notice that in Epic Mickey's opening video, the Wonderland section is completely annihilated by thinner.

o_o You make a good point. No wonder Wonderland isn't in the game.

Originally I thought that there would be a section for it, but then they said that it wouldn't be in the game. I couldn't figure out why until now.

The model was created before the "thinner disaster." Wonderland was were the thinner struck first, and it was completely wiped out. To bad, it would have been perfect to feature the Griffin and the Mock Turtle. Maybe it'll be in the sequel.

I wonder what other levels will be in the Fantasyland section besides IASW, Matterhorn, and the Castle.

well at least they have a reasonable answer

now I just need to remind myself not to bring a ten gallon bottle of Thinner with me to Lonesome Manor

I always thought after I saw the intro that W(Bl)onderland was to be one of the last levels, since the thinner struck there first, there would be creepy versions of the Mad Tea Party and the cheshire cat, after a while I started confusing my self between Epic Mickey and Mcgee's Alice

A Wonderland sections would have definitely been cool to play through, but I understand that with the new Alice out now on DVD, Wonderland isn't that forgotten anymore.

Maybe Warren might keep the Wonderland section in the opening scene as a tribute to the cut world.

                            No!

Although, I suppose it makes sense given the context of the cards' relocation to MickeyJunk Mountain if the thinner completely obliterated that realm.
