"Disney, EA strike deal on 'Star Wars' video games"Disney, EA strike deal on 'Star Wars' video games

I'm looking forward to a Star Wars take on the Battlefield franchise or another Rogue Squadron. What I'm unsure about is Disney working with EA.

Is anyone else both excited and worried as me?

If EA has learned their lesson from two Golden Poo awards, the sudden retirement of a CEO, and the failed launch of Sim City, then I am okay to see EA (and to an extent BioWare) handle Star Wars. If they have not learned their lesson then I am afraid, very afraid.

DICE can make the long awaited Battlefront III, and Bioware can make can make either KotOR 3 or a new experience. Yet I'm still skeptical, with it being EA and all.

I Thought, Disney will make deal with SEGA for future Star Wars games. but Noooo, Has make deal with EA!

if Disney make deal with SEGA.

SEGA and the recently-acquired, Relic Entertainment will finish Star Wars 1313.

Or better yet, give EVERYBODY a chance: Valve would be a great company to make Star Wars games. But we're probably going to have to pay $9.99 for a in-game lightsaber. EA poo doo's.

mixed emotions. On one hand Disney isn't going to try their hand at it and will let a gaming company do it. On the other hand EA charges you all sorts of nickel and dime fees or content.

No, SEGA is better for Star Wars game and the next LucasArts.

SEGA will also be mixing Star Wars and Marvel games.

It was only a suggestion of many companies that can make great Star Wars games, there are many more; Bethesda, Insomniac, Santa Monica Studios, and so on.

I must disagree about Sega, sure they've gotten Sonic out of his rut, but their other games as of late aren't anything special. I just don't want another Aliens Colonial Marines.

Yet nothing can change that we've lost our beloved LucasArts. Now, the EAmperor is pulling the digital strings. It's almost as sad as when Microsoft bought RareWare.
