  • RCT2 Park Ratings driving me NUTS!!!!!

Okay for the first time ever, my theme park, Disneyland International USA has got the highest guest attendance ratings ever and continues to keep it that way. But now my park is having ratings problem. Sometimes it's ratings would just drop drastically low.

This problem is un-common to me cause usually I get a 999 park rating with a low guest rating of around 2 to 3,000.

But now it is my park ratings that are annoying me. People may suggest for me to pay less attention to it but I can't because it may be dropping cause guests are stuck somewhere. Then when I finally realize that they they would flood out of the park and my guest attendance rating would drop too.

Any I know for a fact that crowding or lost guests are not causing my park ratings to bounce up and down constantly because I check their complaints and only a few people are complaining about things. But then I fix whatever they are complaining about and the ratings keep bouncing up and down. Most of the time it is because of disgusting paths and I get those cleaned up. But then there are many times where the ratings drop and when I check the guests complaints either:

    A) There is not much complaints listed that would cause these drops in my park rating.
    B) There would be complaints listed, and when I click on the complaint to see who is complaining about what, it shows that no one is complaining about it.

So then when the ratings are going down and no one is complaning about major issues, that means I have to stop what I am doing, pause the game, see through scenery/rides/people/supports and skim all the path ways of my park to see what is causing problems and it is very annoying.

I think one day I will just let the park rating drop completely.

If this were a real park, and I was a real boss with real employees not doing their jobs and causing my ratings to go down....I would so be happy to fire them on the spot.

So any suggestions on what I should do to get my park a 999 and make it stay that way again?

I have re-arranged my Handymen so many times that it is not funny anymore.

4 Main Sources of Low Park Rating:

    1. Litter/Vomit
    2. Bad Uptime (Closed/Broken Down attractions)
    3. Low Satisfaction/Popularity Rates
    4. Unhappy Peeps

      1. Too many Entitled AP'ers?
      2. Not paying your Cast Members enough, causing a "quality shortage"?

Oh #2 can be a good reason why. I think I have about 50-60 rides all in all in the park but usually 15-20 of them can be closed at the same time. I am trying to replace the ones with most downtime and lowest reliability though.

To hopefully tke out the vomit problems and help the handy men, I have bombarded my European themed area with benches and firts aids because this is one of the problem areas.

        Thanks for the info

Actually my employers don't get paid at all hehehe.

I have my park set with the "No Money" option.
