  • How to Trade on MCV Q&A

It's easy to trade items here on MiceChat VMK:

    1. If you are looking for something to trade, just browse through the various threads in this forum. If you have something you want to trade, click the button.

    2. If creating a new thread/trade offer, be sure to be descriptive, and give details on the trade (like what you are looking for, how much, etc.).

    3. Once you and the person offering the trade (just reply in the thread, and discuss the details), and you are finished with the offer, trade the items. Be sure to check the user's feedback rating, before you decide to trade.

    5. Now, it's time to leave feedback. Just click the button under the person that you need to give feedback to generally, both people involved in the trade should give feedback. Once feedback is given, the thread will be automatically closed.

    6. Fill out the details, be sure to leave a comment, and your experiences with the trader.

    7. Click "Submit Reply".

The trade is complete! By using the feedback system, you can hep yourself not get scammed.

However, MiceChat is not responsible for lost items/credits due to trades. This is an unofficial system, and any user should express caution when trading.

If you have Any other Questions or Comments, Feel free to post them in this thread.

After leaving feedback, the thread will be closed. What is the recommended proceedure for threads soliciting multiple trades?
"Yesterday, a man walked up to me and said, 'Isn't it a shame that Walt Disney couldn't be here to see this?' and I said, "He did see this, that's why it's here."

Contact a VMK leader, to split the thread. It's recommended, only 1 item per thread.

Having a trade thread for mulitple items is fine; however, once one trade is completed please leave feedback and then re-list your items in a new thread. That is the easiest way for the system to work on its own.

Re: How to Trade on MCV

When trading your thread titles don't need to include a much of "!!!" to get another member's attention or be in all CAPS. If anything, that distracts from being able to read through the list of trade thread.s Also, when creating thread titles please try to be as accurate and descriptive as possible.

If you are trading, start your thread title with "Trading:",

                          Trading: blue dress
                          Trading: gold mouse ears
                          Trading: red penny press

If you have multiple items for thread, your thread title could be something like this:

Trading: pins (hotel & pirates listed)
                          Trading: Ride parts (listed)
Trading: DLR In-Park Quest items (listed)
                          Trading: multiple items (listed)

If you are looking to conduct a trade you should start it with,

                          Wanted: blue dress
                          Wanted: Herbie couch
                          Wanted: Goofy hat

The same is the same with multiple items,

                          Wanted: Pirate pins (listed)
                          Wanted: Tiki furniture (listed)

But please remember to only conduct one trade per thread. If you want to list multiple items, that is fine instead of flooding the forum with trade threads for each item. Once a trade is decided upon and conducted in VMK, please leave feedback for each other as the thread will automatically close. Then, if the thread started wishes to continue to trade they can start a new one with the items the originally listed minus the recently traded items. By doing this it makes it easier on all of us. If you have any questions, feel free to post in here or contact a moderator or admin. Thank you very much and happy, SAFE trading, please.
