  • Warning: How to BUST a scammer.

    Trading Safety

This is about trading codes and how you could be scammed of your precious items that you earned all on your own. In the wonderful world of VMK and MiceChat, I advise you not to trade codes at all, but if you must here are some tips:

-Always get a Community Leader(person with CL_ infront of their username and have the wizard badges) To monitor your trade, but be careful, they might punish you for wanting to trade the code.
-Always get the code first, use it to make sure then trade. Both users trading should have the report sign ready just in case and right their username down on a piece of paper in case you forget.
-If they steal for you, first report on vmk. Then immediantly use contact us and your item(s) or code(s) will hopefully be returned to you. You have to do it fast, because the scammer can trade it or sell the room and staff can't prove it.
-If they run away and you don't get their username, that is why you want to have a Community Leader there always to get an easy contact to staff.

Follow these rules if you must trade a code. But, I still advise you to NOT TRADE CODES. VMK staff do not like it and it will result in a ban if they catch you, but if you are stupid enough to trade codes, please be smart enough to follow those rules, or i assure you it will result in a permenent ban.

There is some other stuff i would like to tell you also. There is another very popular scam. The accept then ill go get it scam. People will say accept then ill get it off and give you it or go get it from ym room and give you it, but they never do. Also, they may say accept then ill go to my other accoutn and get it. Here is a very easy tip to avoid those.

-say NOOO, then report on vmk and use contact us to warn vmk staff about the scammer.

That will take care of them. There is one last thing i want to say to you all.

Here are some items that you should ALWAYS get a community leader to monitor while trading.

    -Stitch Items
    -Inferno
-Sparrow(not anymore becuase it is not tradeable)
    -ANY beta items
    -Cowboy
    -Mansion
    -Blue or Gold Princess
    -bird hat
    -headdress

ALWAYS get a monitor for those trades, trust me it will help.

Last thing, If they are a guest with a lot of rare always be careful, they could have switched right befroe a ban. be careful.

Thanks for listening and have a great day!!

Yup. It doesn't make sense lol. What also doesn't make sense is a scammer telling US how to be safe in trading!

I'm guessing that their is either info that I'm not aware of or that the above posts are meant to be funny?
Kuzco: I can't believe this is happening.
Yzma: Then I bet you weren't expecting *this*.
[Yzma pulls up her dress. Kuzco and Pacha scream]
Yzma: [Yzma revealing a knife attatched to her leg] Ah-ha.
[Kuzco and Pacha sigh with relief]
