There are several news sites declaring a leak that pegs the release of the Nintendos Wii on November 19th (4 days after my birthday, hint, hint) for $250.00

I guess we'll find out for sure in a few hours when the Nintendo Media Event is slated to begin.

No. I'm still a Sony/Msft fanboy and hate Nintendo.

Re: Wii let the cat out of the bag!

I would really want to get one, but I'll have to see how my finances go. Then again my boyfriend's birthday is around that time. I could buy it for him and then just use it all the time.

I also want to see what the price of the games are going to be.

^^ Around $50, which is $10 cheaper than the PS3 games.

But, that is for first party games only. The IGN article mentions that third party publishers can charge whatever they want for a game.

while 3rd parties can charge whatever they want its doubtful they will charge more than $50 (with the occasional exception). It seems the more momentum Wii gains the more momentum PS3 loses. ha ha

Hmmm seems a bit fanboyish in here...

As far as 3rd party titles go, I don't think it's going to matter much about the price anyway. I haven't seen any reports on Nintendo's third party support being any better than it has been in the past 2 generations.

Good price point though, and it should definitely appeal to parents this Christmas.

I'll need to see the quality of games before I decied.

Word. I have no loyalty to any system, and hype does little to nothing for me.

I'm VERY excited for the Wii.

Reading hands-on reports from multiple gaming sites, it seems like many Wii launch games are good.

With the amount of support the Wii has, its launch may even be able to rival the PSP's in sheer variety and quantity.

                          AND?

I just seems Nintendo is taking all the right steps lately (for once) while Sony, eh, not so much!

Theres more to good quality games than the super best most amazing graphics. Nintendos aproach is right on IMO.
