Who is the most important player on VMK?

Who do you think is the most important player in the kingdom? This does not inclide staff, Yavn, testers, or community leaders.

There is a player whose title is Baby, and I have heard from a person who was his friend (he proved that he was his friend by saying the title) that he has a pirate hat with a parrot; the hat was discussed on a thread I had some time back. I am not sure if the hat exists but the community leader, who is Baby's friend, was talking about it. Note: the hat is not the Seagull's Nest Hat; it is actually a pirate hat with a green parrot inside of it.

I don't think there is any one important player in the game. Nobody is "special" so to speak. Yeah, sometimes some players get lucky and find themselves helping staff out in some special way, resulting in a special gift (like the pirate hats before they were released to SoarinSoarin, CL_Ned, etc.). Some players were created with special things (Baby is just a regular player like all of us...he just happened to have been born with a pirate hat with a parrot). Some players caught a lucky bug (CL_Ned has a VIP Guest Pin...the only pin of its kind...from a bugged code for the badge). But they are still just regular players like you and me.

I believe that many players are well respected. Those who are kind, trade fair, help others, etc. I don't think that someone being "rich" really accounts for much.

I have a friend who is a CL. He's very nice and often helps out others, answers questions, and is just flat out friendly - even when it is obvious players are annoying him. As far as rich? Hardly. He has the costumes he can get and he has a few chairs here and there. His rooms hardly have in furniture in them, because, he doesn't really need more than one. When the green 50th chairs were released he didn't want to buy one because he didn't need it as he already had enough chairs.

So I guess what I am trying to say is that it's all a matter of perspective.

No one on vmk is any more important than anyone else. Somone who walks down vmk main street saying im a bay be marry me boom boom i shot you i cut myself go dead. May as well have ten times more rare then you. But really, who cares. I could care less. People who go around exploiting their riches, or people who go around saying "Your so cool you have inferno" i hate those people. I wish i could cut them. Who cares what kinda stuff they have. There is no rich there is no poor. Theres lazy, and jerks. And then the people in the middle who know what vmk really is. A game.

The most important player should be yourself, like state above its a game and you play it for enjoyment, if you enjoy helping others that great, if you like to hord items, then great...its all about what makes you happy.....now give me all your stuff

Lots of people have come to me saying I'm probably the richest player in the game. And here's what I think about that, which sort of reflects my answer to your question...

I could very well be, but it doesn't matter to me. I never see what I have accomplished according to other players in this game. In the beginning, Inferno was my goal because I really liked that magic. Not because it was rare, not because it was in demand, but because I honestly liked it. Then I discovered that green baggy jeans were available. But at a price. I figured the easiest way to trade for them would be to trade infernos for them. And so my goal was to get infernos to trade up for the pants. Every time I reached my goal, I would set another for myself. Right now, my goal is to get every piece of furniture in VMK. Granted, that puts me right up there as having a ton of rare because I've gotten my hands on these things. But again, I don't look at the player next to me and go, I have, he/she doesn't. Instead I look at what I have and don't have, and say, what should I try to get next.

Even with minigames, it's not about beating that high score above me. It's beating the high score I've set for myself. I do 65,000 in jungle cruise today, I shoot for 66,000 tomorrow.

So like Pordue, Fan and Zaris said, you are the most important player since it is a game, and you set the goals for yourself.
