Re: What is this worth?
It isn't a bad trade, people will sometimes get better or even worse but if you feel happy about the trade then don't worry!
I have traded black ears for 10 ice chairs before, mainly because I needed the chairs. LOL
It's all about what works for the two of you involved in the trade.

Re: What is this worth?
The card for golden mickey ears is given out only with a purchase from the hat shop on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom or Disneyland. Depending on the cast members working, how nice you are, how busy they are, phase of the moon, etc, etc, you might get a couple with a purchase (we were lucky enough to each get two).
The real-life golden ears were a part of the 50th anniversary celebration. Now that the 50th anniversary year is over, it's anyone's guess as to how long the golden ears (both real and virtual) will be around.

Re: What is this worth?
I was just at Disneyland last weekend, the last weekend of the 50th Anniversary. I was hoping to get some of them, but they do not have them anymore because the 50th is over. Hope this answers any questions or at least helps.Huge Disneyland fan! Huge VMK fan!

Re: What is this worth?
If anyone wants to trade away golden Mickey ears, let me know."Yesterday, a man walked up to me and said, 'Isn't it a shame that Walt Disney couldn't be here to see this?' and I said, "He did see this, that's why it's here."
