  • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories

I love how brutally sarcastic the GTA series is. They aim at our society and take shots on any and everything.

I hate it when people dismiss the series as just mindless violence. It's really not that at all. It's all satire.

For example, the GTA:VCS website is done to look like Mtv. Instead it's called MetV. At the end of her report the newswoman says:

"I'm Jenny Mitchell, with MeTV news, news for a generation that doesn't pay attention and just reads whatever is on the teleprompter because I'm a tramp..."

    Gotta love these games!

Well, my only experience is with GTA San Andreas but I will agree that, while there are violent aspects to it, there is also so much more to the game than that.

I was playing until the wee hours last night and at one point, was trying to complete a difficult mission. Unfortunately, the commercial that was on the radio had me in tears. I ended up driving in to a lake, I was laughing so hard.

I bought the game on a whim, basically because it was cheap and I was looking for something new. I never in a million years expected that it would become my hands-down favorite. The attention to detail is so incredible, the commentary so rich in sarcasm, and the playing environment so vast, I can't believe it took me this long to discover it.

Absolutely great game. And knowing that the sequel is going to be exclusive for the XBox might just get me to actually buy one. (I've always preferred PC to Console games)

Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories are almost enough for me to buy a PSP, but not quite. They both look really good games. Hope they plan to do a stories version of SA, maybe using a single city instead of the entire state.

It hasn't been announced, but you'll probably be able to play VCS on PS2 soon. The did it for LCS, so I don't see why not.

I like it on the PSP, nice little crime spree between classes

Well, lets see.. the games, gotta say they rock!

GTA III was probably the best..

Then there was GTA Vice City

Then it was GTA San Andraes(sp?)

Then GTA Liberty City Stories (Not Vice City Stories, it's the town of the original GTA III)
