VMK (and mice chat) are taking over my life!!!!
please help me peel away from VMK.
i still want to go on it. but just less time.
last night i didnt do my History HW bc i was playing on VMK.
i got in truble today at school. and now im talking on Micechat. and i still didnt do my HW (its 10:51)

How do i stop being Adicted. but still be a casual user??

please save me. im failing spanish. vmk is taking over my life! ahhh!

OK Firstly,W0W!You can't possibly be THAT addicted.I mean,I'm addicted but I still do my H.W at later night

My suggestions:
When you get home from school tell yourself "NO,I will NOT get on the computer" If you do get on tell yourself that your punishment is two days not going on the computer.

If you are having problems with that,post again saying that and I have a few more suggestions..

it's all about setting limits. if the computer's not on, you won't be tempted to go on VMK. If you're at work/school instead of at home, same thing. So stay later. see what i mean?

hmm... so lets see. how about insted of... lets say... the whole entire day on VMK- i will play VMK for 30-60 minutes??? and a little MiceChat here and there. and then spend the rest of my night doing my studies. hanging out with friends. (EXERCISE) and doing my after school activitites. does that sound good? atleast im not going on VMK at all during the weekend! im leaving home!! yay! oh no! that means no Week end pin, no extra credits. no new stuff- WAIT! im getting addicted again! Stay Low~

My parents have lap tops. My sister uses the computer upstairs. My Other two sisters dont live here, but they have lap tops too. I have the Den to myself. In fact. i some times sleep in. tho, im not sure why i do..

That isn't the best way to go.

Let me offer this as a suggestion to you, especially since it's Halloween and you're probably doing a lot of shopping.

After school log into VMK and play a song (25 credits), remix your song of the day (25 credits) and then hop on the Jungle Cruise game while you do your homework.

Spend the time doing your homework first while you keep yourself on the Jungle Cruise and going to play a song ever half hour or so. This way you can still earn credits, spend time "on" VMK and get things done.

Once you're done with your homework, hopefully that is when the Host Games will start, more people will be online with more things to do.

Maybe give that a try and let me know how it works? :cwink:

Nope, it's what I do or at least try to do. :croll:

It's a bit easier with college since my time in class varies from yours. I also don't have anyone but my roommates and yoyo reminding me to sleep when I'm up late studying.

Well, just try to get your priorities straight! If your priorities are:
*Sleeping
*Eating/Drinking
*Homework
*Vmk/Micechat
Try to make a schedule for yourself say you get home from school/work at 3-4pm. Get your homework done, reward yourself with a little snack and maybe a drink and then log on, do your dailies on vmk, check out the posts on mice and then the rest is yours! also, good advice BPF!

Try and get yourself into extra curricular activites such as cheerleading or dance or ANYTHING outside of home.That way,you'll be away from the computer and not tempted to get on.

-Friend's
-Indian Guides
-Girl Scouts
-Irish Dacnce
-Relgion class.
