Why would I want to play a game that I have to pay for, and risk losing money, or getting a prize that isn't worth my time?

I hate that game. The old one was so much better.

This game is the worst part of vmk. I'd rather have the dc monster back than have pirates stay in vmk.

wow. very negative on the Pirate Game.
Im bad at it also. Infact i loose more credits playing it then wining from it. i find it very challanging. but dont get upset. just be like me and not play it.

It isn't that bad. I get a few credits off of it and win most of the time. Also the chests have given me lots. Play Capture the Flag, it is much better I think.

I like pirates - as much as fireworks. I'm pretty good, and usually earn creits. I think the idea of treasure chests is really good, but that's just me.

I'm ambivalent about Ship Battle. Occasionally I'll win some credits. Usually not a lot. Sometimes I'll lose money. I've seen some very, very good players who have obviously played a lot and who have learned the skill of battle.

Normally, though, I'll only venture into Battle because of a quest.

On the other hand; I really like Capture The Flag. I enjoy the strategy and cunning required to steal the flag.

My average payoff on VMK mini-games:

Ship Battle: minus17 - 150
Jungle Cruise: 20
Capture The Flag: 100-250
Mansion: 200-400
Fireworks: 1300

If I want cash I play fireworks, even though it bores me out of my skull. If I want to have fun I play ship battle. Most of the time I make about 175 profit off of it, sometimes a LOT more. When you boil it down, fireworks pays me more credits per minute. But then if I wanted to talk about money per minute I would be at work, not here. Pirates is fun, you can taunt, talk like a pirate, and you play directly against an opponent, not against the computer.

Oh, and ship battle pays a lot more than CTF

Oh, oh, and if you factor in all the odd bonuses I get - 10 credits here, 50 there, 100 this time - seems to be no rhyme or reason, it pays even better

Oh, oh, oh and sometimes you get credits for keys (500) - other times you get nada, so its like karma. Or you can build a seawall defense out of pirate maze cannon walls and turrets - heh!

It's interesting that there are some who feel that Battle pays a lot more than Capture and visa-versa. For me, Capture pays the most. I think it all depends on one's skill.

Yes, Fireworks does pay a lot, but it takes you 10 minutes to play it each time. Also, this season it's quite difficult to play Fireworks and get very far - for a lot of us.

I'll stick with Mansion (that gave me 2,000 credits just because last night), thank you.

Everyone has their own opinions. Some people are really not good at either Ship Battle OR Capture the Flag. So naturally, they don't like the game. I, on the other hand, never lose credits from the game, I think it's fun, it doesn't take up as much time as other games, and I get on the high score board occasionally.

I really don't like playing any other games. I can't get a high score on JC, and what's the point of 10 minutes of time for 20 credits? Fireworks I can SOMETIMES get over 200,000. But, I takes a long time. Not saying that I'm not patient.. it's just the I'm not a fan of the game and I'd rather spend that time doing something I enjoy. Haunted Mansion is fun, but not as fun as POTC.

I agree with that, but I was just talking in comparison with Pirates, I would rather play Mansion. Fireworks can give out lots of credits, but it's just too long and repetitive to play more than 2-3 times at once before I want to hurt small children. With Mansion, at least it's different each time, and really, if you're good enough, you can get a fairly comparable amount of credits in the same amount of time.

And it's not boring.

I've only won pirates flag level three 6 times :lol: I just play with my friend rainny, never have we lost together! she gets the flag an i ' guard/shoot and kill!!' mostly cause i've won tones of ship battles heh
