    Nintendo Wii Presale. Going, Going... Gone!

    GameStop and EB Games announced that they will take a limited number of pre-orders for Nintendo Wii starting at 10am on Friday, October 13th.

    Im already in line. Where you at?

    I doubt there will be the frenzy a few days ago when PS3 went on pre-sale but I cant risk not having one so I will wait.

    I also know that everyone says you shouldnt buy thefirst batch of a new system cause thats when they work out all the kinks but I have to steer away from my better judgement on this one and get it theminute... nay, the second it come out.

    I feel so defeated.

    I can wait. If Nintendo can deliver as many as they say they can I cannot see the Wii being too difficult to find. And if I have to wait? That will not kill me either.

    Where was I at 2:46? Warm and cozy in bed.

      I would've done this but I have school. Plus, the Big N is claiming over 1 million at launch. That should leave a buttload for big chain stores such as Best Buy, Toys R Us, Wal-Mart, etc.

        well.. I tried at a local store.. its a small one tucked away in a village.. hoping there was a chance.. no way. guy said ppl had been there since 5am!

          I cant believe it... i slept in then when i finally got there they were sold out. now what?

            You should be able to get it at a local Best Buy, Walmart, or Target when the store opens on launch day. If you're worried, go a few hours before, but I think you'll be fine going in the afternoon too. They're making a lot.

              I doubt the Wii will be that hard to get on launch day. It will be far harder to get a PS3 on it's launch day even at it's super high launch price.

                  I'll wait on the holiday rush and get it in '07. Can't really afford to get myself that right now with Christmas coming up and bills, etc.

                    I'm with you. I plan on waiting until springtime at the earliest to get a new system. Let them fix the early bugs and get more games out.
