I tend to prefer the battles, simply because it is more "old school"

Neither..I'm not good at pirates..at all. I end up losing credits rather than gaining more..lol

I like Capture best... mainly because I'm better at it. There's some strategy involved with getting the flag, moving it to base, knowing when to let yourself be killed, etc. There are some interesting subtleties.

I can do OK in battle and know now to duck and weave, etc. but sometimes the games can drag on when I'm dead and two pirates are just circling around the land trying to avoid each other for hours! Capture goes much quicker!

I understand that there are more potential credits to be had in Battle, but with the quicker games and decent payoffs, I make more money in Capture.

I like both games. It just depends on my mood. I think to night is a ship battle night!

Ship battle but Capture the flag is nice once in a while
