Platinum members in Nintendo Japan's Club Nintendo rewards program were given two bonus gifts this year: a monthly wall calendar featuring artwork from Nintendo's biggest franchises, and a promise. The promise was that Nintendo would ship out a special Wii-themed bonus once the Wii (then the Revolution) was closer to its release.

The time has come, and the bonus is a Wiimote that's used not for controlling Wii games, but for controlling a television.

Check out the article. they have comparison pictures to show the size of a Wiimote. Apparently, it's about the same length as a PSP.

Wow... I never thought I'd see you say you want something Nintendo made!

Anyway... I did hear about this quite a while back. These Wiimotes for TVs have been out for a long time now, not long after they changed the name to Wii.

lol, I've never been anti ANYTHING. I just think people hold Nintendo on a higher regard than is do, or worse yet, repeat what they hear rather than look for themselves.

If Sony was the doll of the criticial gamers, I'd be just as hard on them.
