When I logged onto VMK today, I was going around to all of the NPCs to gain credits to buy this week's costumes. When I got to the Pirate Treehouse, I clicked on Captain Blackheart, instead of the usual, "Here's 20 credits for finding Captain Blackheart. Come back everyday." it said, "Congratulations! You've won 450 credits, the Silver Pirate Pin, and the right to play Pirates Level 3." Has this happened to anyone else?

Yes. It means that you were visiting Captain Blackheart for the first time after winning your 10th game of Level 2 POTC.
For players who already got the level 1, level 2 and level 3 prizes on the old POTC game, there is no new prize for achieving higher levels on the new POTC game. But for new players, there is no prize for getting past level 1, there is a 450 credit and silver pin prize for getting past level 2, and there is nothing for winning 10 or more games on level 3.
