The Twelve Days of Christmas (12 Days of Christmas) : Lyrics

On the first day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
A partridge in a pear tree.

On the second day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
    Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree.

On the third day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
    Three French hens,
    Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree.

On the fourth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
    Four calling birds,
    Three French hens,
    Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree.

On the fifth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
    Five golden rings,
    Four calling birds,
    Three French hens,
    Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree.

On the sixth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
    Six geese a-laying,
    Five golden rings,
    Four calling birds,
    Three French hens,
    Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree.

On the seventh day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
    Seven swans a-swimming,
    Six geese a-laying,
    Five golden rings,
    Four calling birds,
    Three French hens,
    Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree.

On the eighth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
    Eight maids a-milking,
    Seven swans a-swimming,
    Six geese a-laying,
    Five golden rings,
    Four calling birds,
    Three French hens,
    Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree.

On the ninth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
    Nine ladies dancing,
    Eight maids a-milking,
    Seven swans a-swimming,
    Six geese a-laying,
    Five golden rings,
    Four calling birds,
    Three French hens,
    Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree.

On the tenth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
    Ten lords a-leaping,
    Nine ladies dancing,
    Eight maids a-milking,
    Seven swans a-swimming,
    Six geese a-laying,
    Five golden rings,
    Four calling birds,
    Three French hens,
    Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree.

On the eleventh day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
    Eleven pipers piping,
    Ten lords a-leaping,
    Nine ladies dancing,
    Eight maids a-milking,
    Seven swans a-swimming,
    Six geese a-laying,
    Five golden rings,
    Four calling birds,
    Three French hens,
    Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree.

On the twelfth day of Christmas,
my true love sent to me
    Twelve drummers drumming,
    Eleven pipers piping,
    Ten lords a-leaping,
    Nine ladies dancing,
    Eight maids a-milking,
    Seven swans a-swimming,
    Six geese a-laying,
    Five golden rings,
    Four calling birds,
    Three French hens,
    Two turtle doves,
And a partridge in a pear tree!

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer : Lyrics

    Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer
    had a very shiny nose.
And if you ever saw him,
you would even say it glows.

    All of the other reindeer
used to laugh and call him names.
    They never let poor Rudolph
    join in any reindeer games.

    Then one foggy Christmas Eve
    Santa came to say:
"Rudolph with your nose so bright,
won't you guide my sleigh tonight?"

Then all the reindeer loved him
as they shouted out with glee,
    Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer,
    you'll go down in history!

      Re: holiday songs!

There is this twist to "Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer that I learned in KINDERGARDEN and I still remember:

Rudolph the red nosed reindeer ( reindeer )
Had a very shiny nose ( like a flashlight )
And if you ever saw it ( saw it )
You would even say it glows ( like a lightbulb )

All of the other reindeer ( reindeer )
Used to laugh and call him names ( like Pinocchio )
They never let poor Rudolph ( Rudolph )
Join in any reindeer games ( like Monopoly )

Then one foggy Christmas eve ( eve )
Santa came to say ( Ho Ho Ho )
Rudolph with your nose so bright ( bright )
Won't you guide my sleigh tonight ( yup! )

Then all the reindeer loved him ( loved him )
As they shouted out with glee ( yippee! )
Rudolph the red nosed reindeer ( reindeer )
You'll go down in history! ( like George Washington! )

      )
