  • Math Counts!

Hey Everybody! Just to let you know, Math Counts is a Math compition. Math team/Mathletes from all over the state come and compete, and the top teams from that group go to a worldwide compition. I'm the vice president of the Math Counts Team at my middle school. ( Math team is not just for nerds ppl, ours is full of 7/8th grade girls. and we're not nerds.) Anyways over the break we were given a math counts packet to work on, this packet contains problems of all sorts and envolves many advanced thinking concepts. In this thread I will post a question and see who can solve it, When it is solved I'll post who got it right and an expplanation of how to solve the problem. Come on just because school is out ( or just in ) doesn't mean we can't do some math, Lets see how smart you MC'ers are, Im going to keep points, each problem worth a certain amount, and see who can get the most points. Have fun and please participate
