  • Coke Studios- What's the Deal?

Ok so I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of the game 'Coke Studios'.
I remember I made an account when I was like 12 or something (4 years ago or so). This means it has to be older than VMK. I also remember that it was not too much fun. At any rate when I first played VMK I was like wow, this is a lot like that coke game that I played for like 5m. It is almost the exact game with all coke stuff.
I just went on it again tonight because I wanted to take a look and see if I just remembered wrong or if it really was the same exact game. And yep, it is almost completely like VMK, or VMK is like it. So how did this happen- are they related? Coke is the soda of Disney after all. I just want to know what is up with this game. If they aren't connected- is VMK just a copy?
    Here are some shots anyway.

This first one is a public room. Here there is a music mixer (familiar), and you can play your own songs. Look flammy is even dancing with the 'dance' button!

This is a guest room. You can see the furnish and the owner put it down how they wanted like in VMK.

    Just another public room.

So what is the deal here. And btw this game is open an hour later than VMK lol. It is a little more teen themed I think. Also the graphics are worse in this game. Really, it's not too much fun but I really want to know what the deal is here. Enlighten me.

It could easily be made by the same people as VMK, another good example of this is the game Habbo Hotel, which I know is made by the same people as VMK.

Like I was thinking about it, it has to be connected there is no way they just make such a replica out of nowhere. You can tell by the shots how undetailed and bad the graphics are. I don't know how people play it. They must be hardcore coke people or don't know about VMK.

Yeah i joined that for a while, and found it stupid and boring. My cousin plays alot, and thinks its alot of fun because you can play mixes. I showed him VMK and he wasn't really interestred - im not sure if its connected to disney, but on the page for it there was an add to get free vmk furnish from my coke rewards. btw my cousin is 10.

Hmm free VMK furnish lol. Yes they must be connected in someway. I am suprised this game is still up though. I googled it and found it. My old account is even still working.
It would also make sence if the same people are behind VMK because it seems no work has been done on this game since the last time I played years ago.

My brother didn't feel like playing VMK one day (or it wasn't open yet) so he looked for online games and found this coke site. (this was during summer break) So he sent me an e-mail I got on it looked at it. Had no idea what to do and so I exited out and played VMK

It is nowheres near VMK but people give a lot of credit to the makers of VMK, and if they wern't behind this game as well than that's kind of not appropriate. But I am thinking that they are atleast associated.
