"Secret Room"? Are you sure they weren't talking about Injun Joe's Caves and the Big Thunder Mountain Mine?

Well, it was in Yavn's Newsletter that there would be a room that wasn't listed on the map - one that you had to have tickets to get into. My thought - it's the Club 33 room.

Yes, but, duhduhkid said that those kids were saying that it was located in Frontierland. I just keep getting the thoughts of the caves in Big Thunder Mountain.

There are lots of areas in VMK that aren't listed on the map. The various rooms of the Mansion... Injun Joe's Cave... The Monorail Stations.

I think YAVN was referring to the new Club 33 room.

Maybe they were referring to the Secret Epcot Guest Room that Yavn mentioned in his newsletter?

                    Re: Hidden room?

Well, there are many "hidden rooms", these include: every room linked to the monorail, the Pirate's Treasure Room, the rooms inside the Haunted Mansion, and every room that isn't accessible via the map. They were probably talking about Club33, which is guest room that will only be open to the VMK public this week; after that, it will be used for special staff events and available through invitation (this is where the ticketing system will come in handy).
