  • Gears of War Xbox Live.

I am having a problem with a Gears of War game and I was hoping someone could help.

My friend just got high speed internet and we hooked up his Xbox Live last night. For some strange reason Gears of War has extreme lag. We tried everything (moving the wireless bridge closer to the router, plugging the 360 directly into the modem) and it still had really bad lag.

Then we tried another game and it worked like a charm. No lag, didn't shutter every two seconds, and all the voices could be heard loud and clear.

So my question is does Gears of War require something we don't have. The internet connection is a satallite T1 (way faster than my own, yet my game plays perfectly). We even tried a different game disc, different users, and nothing semed to work. If anyone has any ideas we could really use the help!!!!

I'm not familiar with Xbox Live, but it may be other people on the server. I'm not sure if Xbox Live is broadband only, but if it isn't, that may be the cause.
