  • VMK Central in DCA..?

So this weekend I was at DLR and chatting it up with a couple cast members there and apparently there's a rumor going around among cast members that the head honchos are seriously considering putting a VMK Kiosk inside the Animation Studio at California Adventure. They've already had 2 VMK promotions go through DCA, so maybe they've been successful enough to drive traffic into that park that they're considering making VMK something permanent in there. Anyways, remember that this is just a rumor. So it could be something or nothing.

It could be a plan to phase out VMK Central from Disneyland and move it to a more permanent home at DCA (that little stand doesnt do much). It could also bring in a few extra VMK playing guests to DCA that they would otherwise not go to.

Nope, it is inside of the cinema store. I think that it is nice to have VMK in the Kingdom park but I have also always seen a fit for VMK with Ep-ity-cot, even before the new turnstyles and guest rooms. I figure it would bring more tweens into Epcot, help make Epcot "cooler" and all that jazz that Disney is already trying for.

As for the Animation building.. please no! I LOVE it the way it is. It's been through enough changes in the past few years... if nothing else just put it outside in that area.

But then again they do have the VMK computers/laptops inside Innoventions, and when it rains you have to go in there to get your cards anyway.

Plus, I like the fact that the Animation building is nice and peaceful. It's where I go when I want to get away from the crowds and relax. At times the line for the VMK booth gets quite long and folks get quite loud ... I wouldn't like that.
