  • Second life?

I've heard about some sort of online game called Second Life. What is it? Does anyone know about it? I am sort of clueless and want to know what other people are talking about.

My son said this game is one where you can build you own virtual world. You buy a parcel of land and then start building. But your world can also mix with other peoples worlds. (If that makes sense) You can trade, sell, and buy with other people.

He's tried it a time or two...

I know Scion unvieled its newest models there before in real life, and allowed users to "drive" them and whatnot. Sounds like VMK to me though, and Scion enthusiasts say it's not "all that".

it's an online game that takes real money to play. Unlike the sims online where you earn simoleans by playing with second life you use real cash for clothes and everything else. people are making a lot of money off this game.

The game seems like a ripoff to me. I will stick with the SIMS.

Its an alternate universe game.. but very very modular in what you can do. Its really weird at times and has its own economy.

weird stuff like women actually working as prostitutes, working in clubs, etc just like you would have in the real world, etc.
