I wouldn't doubt if it's like the version found in the TMNT 2: Battle Nexus game on PS2 a couple years back. It looked like my beloved arcade game from my childhood, but it sounded nothing like it (I wouldn't doubt it's licensing issues behind it). All voice samples and original music were gone. The only voice sample is the current voice actors shouting "Cowabunga" when the coin is "inserted". The music generic and only has two tracks: stage music and boss music. It's the same as what Funimation did to Dragonball Z and GT or what Dic did to Sailor Moon and Sailor Moon R. Awful synthesized music that ruins the scene is a real turn off for me. The arcade promo was also gone. Am I bad for saying I downloaded an emulator and the roms and enjoy the game in it's original form? I wish there was still an arcade machine in my area. That, to me, is the best way to enjoy those old arcade games.
Its now official! http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/770/770555p1.html
Only 400 points and it will be out this month! Finally a beat em up game that I played in my Childhood. This is what I expected when I first heard about the Live Arcade. And in the video that was up a while ago the voices were the same as they were from the REAL show, so thats great news.
Now if we could only get Simpsons Arcade (Its now or never since the movie comes out this Summer), X-Men Arcade, and Turtles in Time. This is EASILY going to become the fastest selling Arcade game at only 400 points.
