Apparently it sucks. Across all Platforms..

    PS3: 5.2 out of 10

After finding the last poster, you'll have to fight through a handful of Redcoats by hitting the attack button over and over again. As you do so, Jack will start to parry with the enemy until the enemy is somehow stunned and inexplicably turns around and stares at the ground. At this time, Jack can finish him off by punching him in the back of the head or slicing him once more. This is fun for about the first four enemies and you realize that this is the base of the entire combat system

Closing Comments:Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End has the atmosphere and look of a great pirate game, but that's about it. While the sound and characters help capture the essence of the Disney trilogy, the shallow gameplay is too much to endure for the seven or so hours it takes to complete the game. Let's put it this way: if came down to playing this game for seven hours or walking the plank, it would be a tough choice. Save your hard-earned cash for a barrel of rum and consider a rental.

Try to remember any movie inspired game that launches exactly when the movie does... that didn't suck

Too bad it seems they took a step back with Spiderman 3.

Maybe it didn't suck.. but where is that game's legacy? Just another title in the great sea of mediocrity.

Actually, reviews of the game weren't all too friendly. I mean, honestly, as far as story goes, the Spider-Man 2 game was horrible. The cut scenes sucked and the graphics were pretty bad. The thing that made the game so much fun was being able to go swinging around the city, which isn't much of a game as opposed to a diversion.

And as flynnibus said, it doesn't really leave a legacy to the REST of the video game industry. It basically was a Spider-Man version of GTA.

That's true, it was basically Spider-man 2: GTA lol.

Fun game though. Not great, but fun for a rental.

                  Agreed.
I still think the worst game based on a movie was "Enter the Matrix"

The Riddick game that came out for X-Box was supposed to be pretty darn good for a movie adaptation from what I recall, but I can't speak from personal experience and it wasn't quite released at the same time as the movie, so...

:!$#%: that game. I was SOOO hyped about Enter the Matrix and the two sequels. I bought everything I could and pre-ordered the game.

What a piece of crap. I'd sell it, but I'd probably lose money on the gas it would take me to get to Gamestop

LOL!!! Yeah, i know what you mean. I'm so glad I rented it first. I hated that you didnt play as Neo first of all. But I could get over that if the game itself wouldve been better. The thing I still laugh about is "When you see an Agent, run" Wow, great strategy

"Goldeneye" will always be the best game based on a movie.

bleh.. another FPS game adored by console fans.. only because they had nothing better (just like Halo).

Goldeneye was great for the Bond theme and a fun single player for the time.

Although this is really just picking hairs, once again, Goldeneye wasn't hailed for it's connection with the movies. It was hailed for its gameplay, especially multiplayer. That wasn't unique to the Goldeneye game, it was just the vehicle. The story was decent.
