As part of the four-year contract a host of new features will be available for the handheld, enabling it to make video and voice calls over the Internet using BT's already-established broadband services. At first the PSP will only be able to communicate with other PSP owners and users of BT's Softphone service, which enables PC owners to communicate with other Softphones via the Internet. However, eventually new features will be added to ensure PSP owners can call and message PCs, land lines and mobile phones.
I figured it was only a matter of time...

I'm pretty sure you can use just about any old BT keyboard, except the Apple ones.

There were two snazzy keyboards that were going to come out a while back. One from Logic 3, and another from Sony...

Ever since I got a Blackberry, I don't use my PSP for internet usage as much, but it'd still be great for those times...

Is the phone service going to be free with the PSP?

If not, then what's the point, if you already have a cell phone and the PSP is a poor substitute?

Video calls is cool, I don't see it replacing my cell phone, but I can think of lots of benefits of having a video call.

Too bad its not a real videophone like you can get in the rest of the world Video sounds like PSP to PSP only. Over there you can get a 3G video handset and make video calls to other 3G handsets or H324 gateways.

I get drunken video calls from Europe all the time where my friends are like 'check out this girl I just met...' too funny
