Re: What does this mean?
Ok someone just told me it stands for emotionally charged punk rock and this defenition:
The Difference between Emo/Imo And Goth:
Emos Hate themselves
Goths hate Everyone
Emos Want to Kill themselves
Goths Want to kill Everyone
The true emo, some who is overly emotional. Many people suffering from manic depression are labelled emo, because they can't help feeling life is unbearable. Alot of them also cut, hence people labelling other people who cut 'emo' or 'imo'.
I hope this is not inappropriate to post, I just was not aware of all this!sigpic

Re: What does this mean?
I don't know if this is the right place to put it but.. there's a new label.
"Scene" which is a mix of goth and prep. Like.. you Love black but you like prep colors also. [hot pink, electric blue, etc]
yeah. had to say that. hah.*Made By Allie.

Re: What does this mean?
"emo is an emotion not a label"
as my friend sami always says. People are always calling her emo just because she hangs around us "preps" [ughh no im not annoying. preps at my school wear hollister, and abercrombie] but she doesnt wear ether. so thats why she says that.and so, the princess must leave her kingdom on May 21st, 2008. </3

Re: What does this mean?
Emo, is an abreviation for emotional, matter of factly. People use it to lable. Most consider anybody "emotional/emo" to always be depressed, hate life, and cut themselves. It's not always true. That's why nobody should lable. Scene isn't really goth & prep. Gothics are against a certain religion, preps are or are not. Scene isn't really much a lable, as it is what you wear. But it is related to "preps". :cwink:
Hope that clears a few things up. I really suggest we do not go further into the matter. Just for safety of personal attacks, and any other way anybody may break a rule. <33
Also, I think this thread can be closed. Can it not? petitetrianon has recieved what she wanted to know, and I think that'd be the end. :csmile:
