Farewell WDW VMK Central! My tribute..

With September 30th being the last day VMK Central would be open at WDW, I just had to stop by for one last visit. Turning in my very last set of quests I admit I was a little sad at this closure. Yes I know that there will be other ways to obtain in park cards but one of the excitements of going to the MK was to stop by and turn in my quests!

So here it is, my tribute to the place that won't be forgotten any time soon.

What better way to send off VMK Central than with a bird hat in its honor.

Too bad. I'm going to miss doing the quests and getting the prizes at VMK Central.

Anyone know what they are going to do with the extra cards they stil have?

Are they going to give them away?

What do you think they are going to do with VMK Central in the Virtual Magic Kingdom game?

When I spoke to the CM she only was able to give me High School Musical, The Animation Viewer and the Mickey TV.

She said they were in short supply of all that and out of all the others and mentioned that she was hit really hard first thing that morning because everyone else knew the place was closing.

So I don't think they will have much, unless someone stashed something somewhere which is entirely possible. :lol:

Aww that was cute, i have never had a chance to go. the one time i went i was only 3 years old, so therefore VMK Central was not around, and my parents haven't taken us since. Then again we went with my grand parents cause they had this conference thing, but now they live there but they only have a two bedroom house and the second bedroom is an office, so we would still have to stay at a hotel, and i was hoping to get to WDW before they decided to close but i guess i cant now. Oh well there will be other chances to go there someday. Me and my friendare planning to got for my 16 b-day and stay with my grandparents ROTFLMAO. but our parents probably wont let us, but any way im very sad that it is closed. Wow! I thought they'd be swamped with extra cards.

I didn't expect so many people to rush to the Magic Kingdom the last day and get their final prizes.

This proves how popular it was.

We went to WDW on the 23 and took the quest and all it was great. The store had some nice rare cards in a display but said they were all "retired" and would not be given out. They were nice enough to give us cards for doing the animal park quest even though we had not.

aww and i wanted to go to vmk central during my trip to WDW in march for the first time! aww ill miss that place even though i never went
